Simul’s free plan allows you to upload 1 document and collaborate on it with an unlimited number of collaborators. It also gives you access to all features of Simul.
If you want to be able to upload and collaborate on more than 1 document, you’ll need to upgrade to a paid plan.
Simul has 3 paid plans: Individual, Squad and Team.
Plans shown in USD. Depending on your country, you may be shown pricing in your local currency when you login to your account.
All plans include all features and allow you to upload unlimited documents and collaborate on them with an unlimited number of collaborators.
The difference in the plans basically comes down to how many people can upload new documents to Simul.
The Individual plan allows 1 person to upload documents, the Squad plan allows 3 people to upload documents, and the Team plan allows 7.
See our help document on Selecting the right plan for you for further information and examples of how this works.
If you need more than 7 people to be able to upload documents, contact us and we can discuss a custom pricing plan.
To upgrade to one of our paid accounts, follow these steps:
Login to your Simul account and navigate to the Settings section of the application by clicking the arrow next to your name in the top right corner, and then selecting the ‘Settings’ option.
Once in the Settings section, select ‘Subscription’ from the left hand menu.
Simul’s paid plans are shown in the ‘Your Plan’ section. Select which plan is right for you and your organisation (see our article on selecting the right plan here) and click ‘Upgrade’ on the desired plan.
Simul will automatically detect your location and attempt to show you prices in the most relevant currency to you (I.e. USD for people in USA), however if you wish to change the currency you pay in you can click the currency on the top right of the plans and a dropdown will show you the other options.
After you click ‘Upgrade’ on your desired plan, a modal will popup asking for your credit card details.
Enter valid credit card details into the form and select Upgrade. We use Stripe to process payments, the same secure infrastructure used by the likes of Unicef, Lyft, Xero, Open Table, Salesforce and more, so you can rest assured your details will be protected.
After you’ve entered your credit card details and clicked Upgrade, you should see a confirmation message like the one below:Your Subscription page should have also updated to reflect the new changes, including your new plan and your new document limits. If you selected the Squad or Team plans which include licences for multiple creators, see our article on Adding Team Members to learn how to assign Creator licences to other members of your organisation.
